When you watch him play, what stands out to you is that he never quits on a play. He’s a great vocal defensive anchor, has size, length and athleticism. More importantly, he is very motivated and that energy always galvanizes a team.““With both, Brandon and Walter, we feel like we found 2 import players who fit in seamlessly and blend in with our local talent.Im excited for this phase of Black Frogs Basketball. Walter Williams, a 6’5 all around player out of Virgina State University, who recently played for the Petersburg Cavaliers in the ECBL.

Here are Coach Nigel’s thoughts on Walter:

„First thing on my list is CHARACTER. And if you speak with Walter, this is the first thing that stands out with him, high character guy.
Everybody loves an underdog story, but not all underdogs are given the chance to show what they can do. To me, Walter’s impact on the team will go beyond stats, and he will turn out to be exactly what we need. If he went to a D1 or D2 or whatever school doesnt matter.
This was an easy choice to make.“
